NOTE

Elspet was born c 1840 at Ord, Banff. & died in 1895. Her parents were George Murdoch & Isabel Allan. She re-married to Robt. Allan in 1871. Alexr. is recorded at Mains Of Idoch, Turriff, Aberdeen in the 1851 census. His brother John was also present. I think Margt. died aged 18 yrs.

The family were living at Auchendearn, Marnoch, Banff. in the 1861 census & later, Elspet, now a widow, is living at Brand's St., Turriff, Aberdeen in 1871 with dau., Margt. Also present was her sister, Margt.

Elspet is living at Bogside, Monquhitter, Aberdeen in 1881 with her new family.
