The family were living in Pitsligo, Aberdeen in the 1881 census & later at 9 Buchan St., MacDuff, Gamrie, Banff. in 1891. Alexr., now a widow, is living at 22 Bruce St., MacDuff, Gamrie, Banff. in 1901 with daus., Elsie & Mary. Also present is Grandson, Alexander K. Thain.
