NOTE

Ann was born c 1780 at Fordyce, Banff. & died before 1855. Some trees have another son, John who married Ann Arbuthnott but this particular John was the son of John Findlater & Margt. Herd & I can't find any evidence Alexr. & Ann had a son called John.

Alexr. & Ann were living at Fortrie, Gamrie, Banff. in the 1841 census with dau., Mary & Grandchildren, Ann Lee & Alexr. Duncan. Ann, now a widow, is living at Manner Street 4, Mcduff, Gamrie, Banff. with dau., Mary in 1851.
