NOTE

Ann Morrison's past in unknown & probably died before 1841. Margaret Wiseman was born c 1825 at Keith, Banff. & died in 1865. Her parents were George Wiseman & Janet Hood.

Helen was born c 1838 at Marnoch, Banff. & died in 1912. Her parents were James Cruickshank & Ann Allen.

William died aged 10 yrs, Helen aged 11; Elsie aged 8 yrs & Ann & the 'unknown' children all died in infancy. George is also thought to have died in infancy but no death record found ?

I couldn't find anyone in the 1841 census, however, Alexander, now a widow, is living with his mother & son, James at Bogtown Carnousie, Forglen, Banff. in 1851. No idea where Margt. was ?

The 1861 census records Alexr. & family at Craigmills, Fordyce, Banff. & later (with his 3rd wife) at Highfield, Fordyce, Banff. in 1871. Also present was his sister, Margt.

The family were living at Bradiesard Farm House, Fordyce, Banff. in 1881. Also present was Mother-in-law, Ann Cruickshank. The family are living at the same place in 1891. His sister, Margt. was also present.

Helen, now a widow, was living at Cullen St., Portsoy, Banff. with son, Patrick in the 1901 census.
