Catherine was born c 1823 at Gamrie, Banff. & died in 1855. Her parents were William Burr & Mary Dawson. Isabella was born c 1831 at Boyndie, Banff. & died in 1884. Her parents were George Cummings & Ann Taylor. She had an illigitimate dau., Isabella Jenkins in 1854.

Alexander's cause of death: Saracoma (tumour of embryonic connective tissue) of foot (amputated 2 yrs), saracoma of left kidney, and general dropsy.

Alexr. is recorded as a servant at Craig Of Gardenston, King Edward, Aberdeen & his wife, Catherine as a lodger at Gelly Mill St 14, Gamrie, Banff. in the 1851 census.

The family was living at Bridge Foot, Boyndie, Banff. in the 1861 census. Also present was Isabella's dau., Isabella Jenkins.

His son, John was recorded with his Grandmother, Mary Burr at Clinterty, Gamrie, Banff.

The 1871 & 81 census' record the family living at Linksfield, Banff. Banff.

Alexr. now a widow is living at 1 Harvey Place, Banff. Banff. in 1891 with dau., Ann & her son, Charles Kidd. Also present was Grandson, Alexander Lyon, 1884, Boyndie.

The 1901 census records Alexr. living at 1 Victoria Place, Banff. Banff. Also present was dau., Ann & her son, Charles Kidd & 2 Grandsons, Alexr. Lyon, 1882, Banff. & Alexr. Lyon, 1887, Banff.
