John, an Ice Peddler/Miner, was born c 1857 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah & died in 1940. His parents were John Reece Clawson & Lucinda Amelia Rhodes.

The family were living at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah in the 1880 census & later at Salt Lake City Ward 2, Salt Lake, Utah in 1900. Ann & John are recorded at Salt Lake City Ward 3, Salt Lake, Utah in 1910 with son, Charles. John & his family are also present.

The 1920 census records Ann & John living alone at Driggs, Teton, Idaho. His divorced son, John & his children were living next door. Ann is living with her son, John at Driggs, Teton, Idaho in 1930.
