NOTE
Isaac, a Farmer/Master Mason, was born c 1816 at Kendal, Westmorland & died in 1898. His parents were John Hunter & Alice Elizabeth Taylor. Banns 18th & 25th October & 1st November. Marr. witnessed by William Lemming & Isabella Gibson. Mary Ann died in infancy.
Isaac & Ann Hunter travelled west from Kanesville (now Council Bluffs), Iowa to Salt Lake City with the Warren Foote Company (Pioneer Company). Departed 17 June 1850 Iowa, arrived Salt Lake City 17-18th and 26 September 1850. Ann was aged 33 years.
Isaac was a Member 42d quorum seventies; ward teacher. One of President Young's guards. Captain of home militia; policeman. Worked on Salt Lake theatre and temple. Stonecutter and contractor. Died May 28, 1898, Salt Lake City.
