NOTE

John, a Crofter/Farm Lab, was born c 1799 at Grange, Banff. He died before 1861.

The family was living at Upper Foulsie, King Edward, Aberdeen in the 1841 census & later at Hill Of Foulzie, King Edward, Aberdeen in 1851.

Ann, now a widow, was living at 26 Church St No 4 Hillies Close, MacDuff, Banff Burgh in the 1861 census with dau., Elspet.

The 1871 census records Ann living at 32 Market St., MacDuff, Banff., with son-in-law, John Rennie & Grandson, Alexander Rennie.

She is again living with her Grandson, Alexander in 1881 at 47 B Gellymile St. Macduff, Gamrie & finally she's alone at 451/2 Gellymill St., Macduff, Gamrie in 1891.
