NOTE
John, a Mechanic, was born c 1800 in Lancashire & died in 1845. The family was living at Pollard St., Manchester, Lancashire in the 1841 census. SEE
here. Margaret died in infancy & I've no idea what happened to their children, except Ellen.
* Ellen wasn't actually recorded in the above census & I think she and Susannah are the same & probably recorded wrong in 1851 or her full name was 'Susannah Ellen' ?

The 1861 census records the family at Knowles Square, Pendlebury, Lancashire. Ann, now a widow, is recorded at Chapel St., Worsley, Lancashire in 1871. Also present was a Grandaughter, Elizabeth Ann Kirkman, although she's recorded as 'Howarth' & a daughter.
Ann probably died before 1881.
