I can't find Asenath's birth record. James was a Farmer & born c 1865 at Ontario, Canada & died in 1948. His parents were George Hadden & Isabella Johnston.

The 1901 census records the family living at Brock, North Ontario. Also present was 'adopted daughter', May Hulbert. She may have born Dora May Hurlbert at Wick, Brock Twp, Ontario to Calvin Hurlbert & Clara Constable.

The family later lived at Brockville Dist. 103, North Ontario in 1911, although Asenath was recorded as 'Lilly' & Olive as 'Sally'.
