NOTE

George, a Farmer, was born c 1761 at Gamrie, Banff. & died in 1842. His parents were James Davidson & Anne Whyte. The 1841 census records George living at Greenskairs, Gamrie, Banff. Also present is Helen Davidson, 1812, Scotland.

A gravestone reads: "This stone is erected to the memory of JAMES DAVIDSON, sometime farmer in Greenskairs, who departed this life May 12 1798, aged 80 years. Also ANNE WHYTE, his spouse, who died June the 1st 1798, aged 76 years. Also BARBARA FINDLATER, spouse to GEORGE DAVIDSON, farmer in Greenskairs, who departed this life July 30th 1836, aged 77 years. Also the above GEORGE DAVIDSON, who died the 10th August 1842, aged 81 years."
