NOTE

George, an Farm Serv, was born c 1839 at Auchterless, Aberdeen. His parents were Alexr. Mair & Elizabeth Hunter. He re-married in 1869 to Jemima Hay Gordon Murdoch & had several more children.

Barbara & her son, William were living with her father at 6 High St., Macduff, Banff Burgh in the 1861 census.

The 1871 census records George (now re-married) living at Finnggand, Marnoch, Banff. His sons were also present & Barbara was recorded with her Grandfather, Alexr. Mair at Auds, Boyndie, Banff.
