NOTE

John, a Day Lab/Crofter, was born c 1815 at Boharm, Moray & died in 1888. His parents were John Laing & Elizabeth Innes.

The family was living at Bogbain, Keith, Banff. in the 1841 & 51 census'. The family are living at the same place in 1861. Also present was her father, James Inkson.

Bathia & John were living alone at the same place in 1871 & 81. The latter also records their dau., Margaret & her dau., Bella Laing Gordon, 1877, Keith.

The 1891 & 1901 census' records Bathia living with her dau., Margt., at the same place. Also present in both was margaret's dau., Bella.
