NOTE

All children were illigitimate, although I'm not sure if they all had the same father. I'm quite sure Caroline died in 1875, although FreeBMD records her death as 65 yrs rather than 59. I couldn't find Caroline in the 1841 census, although, Ruth was recorded with her Grandparents & Walter, with his Aunt Mary.

The 1851 census records Caroline & her two sons at Sherborne, Dorset. Caroline is recorded with son Charles & daughter, Eliza at Newland, Sherborne, Dorset (1861)

Caroline & Eliza are recorded at Sherborne, Dorset (1871), although no street address was recorded.
