NOTE

John, a Rock Salt Miner/Ferry Man, was born c 1815 at Witton, Cheshire. Elizabeth probably died in infancy.

The family was living at Forge Lane, Marston, Cheshire in the 1841 census & later Catherine & John are living in the same area in 1851 with children, Henry & Benjamin.

The 1861 census records the family living at Fleming St., (?), Witton, Cheshire. Her father was also present.

Catherine may have died late in 1861 & John re-married to a Sarah as there's a John & Sarah Lovett living at Witton with a dau., Catherine in 1871. All dates match & he was a Waterman.
