NOTE

John, a Mariner, was born c 1837 at Folkestone, Kent. His parents were Richard Beer & Mary Grant. I have John Henry death aged 12 yrs in 1877, which is strange as another John Henry, aged 7 is recorded in the 1881 census ???

Catherine was recorded at Grove Cottage, Folkestone, Kent (1851). Catherine & John were living at Saffrons Row, Folkestone, Kent (1861) with Aunt Elizabeth Jeffrey, who was I presume John's Aunt.

The family were living at Saffrons Row, Folkestone, Kent (1871). Also present Elizabeth Jeffrey, mother ???, w, 67, Mariner's Widow.
