Charles Immigrated to USA in Feb. 1891 on the vessel 'City of New York' and arrived in New York on 12 Feb 1891. The passenger list Page 1 & 2 can be seen here. Although its in bad condition & almost illegible he's recorded on Page 2. The family lived at Lyme, Huron, Ohio (1900) & later at Oxford Twp, Erie, Ohio (1910) with 6 children.

The 1920 census records the family at Groton, Erie, Ohio including 3 Grandchildren, Frances, Lorna & Clarence Schoenegge & later at Thompson, Seneca, Ohio (1930).
