NOTE

Lottie, a Dressmaker, was born c 1893 at Le Grande, Union Co., Oregon & died in 1956.

The family was living at Los Angeles Assembly District 71, Los Angeles, California (1920) & Lottie & the children were living at Beverly Hills, Sherman Precinct, Los Angeles, California (1930). Charles wasn't present.

My grandfather (Charles Robert Duncan) lived in Santa Maria and I only saw him once a year or every other year. He lived with his sister Aileen. She owned the Ranch house Motel in Santa Maria. As a young boy he stayed with us for a month. I cried when he returned home. I remember that day clearly even though it was 50 years ago. When He died my father told me we had to travel to Santa Maria to bury Grandpa. My father (his son), Me and my son Dennis drove to Santa Maria for the funeral. (by Charles Robert)
