NOTE

James, a Farmer, was born c 1733 at Marnoch, Banff. & died in 1814.

A gravestone reads: "Tablestone: Sacred in memory of JAMES WALKER who was farmer in Mains of Pittendrich for upwards of 50 years. He d. much regrated 8 Oct. 1814 aged 81/4. This respect is mostly devoutly inscibed to his memory by ELIZABETH ANDREW his affectionate spouse & their children. Here also are interred the remains of said ELIZABETH ANDREW d. 22 June 1829 aged 82. (Spelling as on stone). Flate stone beneath: This stone was laid (next line obscured by support of tabelstone) ... JOHN TROUP some-time farmer in the Husband Town of Pittendrich d. 20 Nov. 1774 aged 75. By his surviving spouse JEAN YOUNG."
