NOTE

John, a Carter/Yeoman/Teamster, was born c 1848 in Ireland & died in 1927. His death record can be seen here. His father was James Hamilton. John's Immigration year is c 1864.

He was previously married to Elizabeth Kendrick, also from Ireland. She died in 1885 aged 37 yrs from Typhoid Fever. They had 8 children that I've been able to find: Isabella Jane, Elizabeth, John Robert, Mary Ann, Margaret, John, James Henry & Francis Charles.

I couldn't find their marriage record. The family was living at Whitby East, Ontario South in the 1901 census. Also present was Francis C. Hamilton. The 1911 census records the family living in the same area, although it records Elizabeth's birth year as '1857'.
