NOTE

Archibald, a Farmer, was born c 1842 at Rathven, Banff. His parents were George Clark & Janet Smollet. Elizabeth was recorded at Deveron St., Huntly, Aberdeen in the 1861 census.

The family was living at Kirkhill, Gartly, Aberdeen in the 1871 & 81 census'. The latter also recorded Elizabeth's brother, William G. Laing.

The 1891 & 1901 census' records the family living at the same place.
