NOTE

Emmanuel is living with his parents at Halfway House, Rawdon, Parish of Guiseley, Yorkshire in the 1841 census & later as a lodger at Beckwithshaw, Pannal, Yorkshire in 1851. Jabez is recorded with his Grandparents.

Emmaretta or Emma died in 1847 at Otley, Yorkshire. Nothing else is known.

* This info isn't too clear as the 1861 census records Emmanuel & wife (Anna) & the two daus. but the marriage index records his marriage to Hannah Littlewood in 1863 so he may have marriage twice or he & Hannah wasn't married in 61. The daus., are recorded as Luty in the birth index, however, Mary Ann married under the name of Littlewood?

The 1861 census records the family living at Low Sellafield, St Bridget Beckermet, Cumberland. I couldn't find anyone in 1871 but in 1881 Emmanuel & Hannah were living at Chevin Side, Otley, Yorkshire. Also present is dau., Mary Ann (Litt) & her children.

Hannah, now a widow, is living with her dau., Mary Ann (Litt) at the same place in 1891. I think Hannah re-married in 1893 (John William Denison) & was living at 5 Cross Bank Road, Batley, Yorkshire in 1901.
