NOTE

" Charlie married his 'Cousin', Frances & they both lived in Ilford, Essex then later in York. Mum remembers Eva being less than attractive & being a little scared on her when she ws little because of her big nose. But despite these shortcummings she was a pleasant lady who was a dress & curtain maker. Charlie was an office worker dealing with money & she remembers one time when he left Eva in London & travelled to Rothes to his brothers house drunk, with all the offices money & didn't even remember how he got there! Sister-in-law, Isabel Ford wasn't impressed. Mum remembers Charlie & Eva actually wanting to adopt Mum because for some reason or another they couldn't have children." (Louise Ford)
