NOTE

Maria was born c 1858 at Aberdeen St. Nicholas. Her parents were Robt. Smith Willock & Mary Craig. Francis was living with his mother at 2 Irvine Place, Old Machar, Aberdeen in the 1881 census.

Frank left Scotland in May 1890 from Glasgow on the vessel 'State of Nebraska' & arrived at the Port of New York 14 May 1890 according to this Passenger List.

The family was living at New Trier, Cook, Illinois in the 1900, 1910 & 1920 census'. Frank & Maria were living alone in the same area in 1930. Mary is recorded in the same area as the proprietor of the 'Tea Room & Inn'.

Francis Adam Andrew became a banker he worked at this his whole life, both in Scotland and in Illinois where he lived after coming to the US. He married Maria Agnes Willock of Aberdeen. They had one daughter, Mary, after coming to the US. Mary was Dean of Women’s housing at Syracuse University for many years until she retired in 1964. She never married and died in 1966 of a stroke.
