Jane, now a widow, is living in the same area in 1861 with children, Thomas, Harriot & Mary. Also present is Grandson, John Hilditch, 1850, Hartford. The 1871 census records Jane living with son, Thomas & 3 Grandaughters, Frances (11), Ellen (9) & Emily (6).
