NOTE

Mary was born c 1848 at Stalbridge, Dorset. Martha Jane died aged 28 yrs in 1898. The family lived at Gold St., Stalbridge, Dorset (1871), which is records Mary as a 'Glove Maker'. Later moved to Manchester around 1875 & lived at 3 Vaughan Rd, Heaton Norris, Manchester (1881). In the 1891 census the family were living at 4 Derby Range, Heaton Norris, Manchester. It also records his son-in-law (Laura's husband) John Welsh, 20, Bricklayer's Labourer, Chester, Cheshire.

The 1901 census records them at the same address.
