Children

George, a Road Labourer, was born c 1821 at Marnoch, Banff. & died in 1907.

Helen & the children were living at Auchlin Cottage, King Edward, Aberdeen in the 1851 census.

Also present was sister, Sarah Findlater, Niece, Ann Fraser, 1848, King Edward, Aberdeen & Nephew, James Lawrence, 1842, King Edward, Aberdeen.

I can only assume these children were Sarah's but I'm not sure ?

The 1861 census records Helen & George living at 7 High St., McDuff, Banff Burgh with dau., Helen. In 1871 Helen & George were living at Bridge Foot, Banff. Banff. with dau., Helen & 2 Grandchildren; M.L. Gordon & Jane Robertson.

Helen & George were living at Inverboyndie Findlabers House, Banff. Banff. in 1881 with dau., Jane & Grandaughter, Helen McKilligan.

In 1891 the family are recorded at Findlaters House No 1, Banff. Banff. Also present were 3 Grandaughters, Helen McKilligan, Elizabeth Benzie & Maggie Harper.

George, now a widow, is living at Morrison Pl (off Gallowhill St), Banff. Banff. in 1901 with dau., Jane & Grandaughters, Helen McKilligan & Elizabeth Benzie. Also present was Great Grandaughter, Ella M. Benzie.
