NOTE

As far as I know Helen never married but had several illigitimate children & well as two adopted children also. William McDonald, 1887, Marnoch; Robert Reidford, 1897, Inverkeithny; John Thomson, 1900, Inverkeithny; Marjory Reidford, Inverkeithny & adopted children, Catherine M. Ritchie & Oswald Logan.

Helen is recorded at The Manse in Hamlet, Inverkeithny, Banff. in the 1891 census & later at Hillhead, Inverkeithny, Banff. in 1901 with her children & Niece, Isabella Mitchell.

A Gravestone reads: " In loving memory of CATHERINE M. RITCHIE d. 24 Apr. 1946 aged 15, adopted dau. of HELEN REIDFORD Sylvia Croft, Inverkeithny."

Another Gravestone reads: " In loving memory of our mother HELEN REIDFORD Sylvia Croft, Inverkeithny d. 29 Aug. 1955; also her ward OSWALD LOGAN d. 2 Oct. 1954 aged 21."
