Helen & John were related but I'm not sure how. Helen was my ggg Aunt & John my 1st Cousin +4 Removed. John was a widower at time of marriage.

The family was living at No 93, Rathven, Banff. in the 1871 census. Also present was her brother, George.

The 1881 census records the family living at 119 Braeheads, Boyndie, Banff. & later at Seatown, Boyndie, Banff. in 1891.
