Jane was born c 1829 at Slapton, Devon & died in 1909. Henry is recorded as a visitor (to Thomas & Betsy Fairweather) at 5 Rainworth Cottage (?), Hackney St John, Middlesex in the 1861 census & later the family are living at Boutford St., (?), Barnstaple, Devon in 1871.

Jane, now a widow, is living with her brother (Henry) at Lower Coltscombe Farm, Slapton, Devon in 1881. Jane & son are living with sister-in-law (Sarah Fairweather) at Caries Cottage, Chillington, Stokenham, Devon in 1891 & 1901. All are 'living on own means'.
