NOTE

Susanna was born c 1827 at Stalbridge, Dorset & died in 1888.

I can't find this family in the 1851 census as I suspect they were in the United States at the time, but the 1861 census records Susanna & the children at High St., Stalbridge, Dorset. Also present is Susanna's mother, Elizabeth West & her brother, William West. James' birthplace is recorded as 'Huron County Ohio N America British Subject'. I have no idea what happened to Henry ??? I also searched the 1860 census of United States but couldn't find him anywhere.

By 1871, Susanna had re-married to Beer House Keeper, George Francis (1815-1879) & lived at The Queen's Head, Stalbridge, Dorset. Also present was her son John David Jeans.
