"Had two illegitimate children reported to be by same father although not listed on either birth certificate. You have managed to confirm a family my mother never knew she was part of (Alison Stott nee Wilson ). As daughter of Charles Catto born 1901 her surname on birth in 1931 was classed as Wilson – the supposed surname of the unnamed father of Charles Catto!!
