Ellen was born c 1846 at St. Dennis, Cornwall. Jonathan Died aged 7 yrs. The family were living at Hendra Bazey, St. Dennis, Cornwall in the 1871 census & later at Gaverigan, St. Columb Major, Cornwall in 1881 & 91.

Ellen, now a widow, is living at the same place with sons, Gideon, Edward, Daniel & Clifford in 1901.
