Jabez is recorded at Bridge End Farm, Davenham, Cheshire in the 1871 census & later the family were living at 53 Arlington St., Kirkdale, Liverpool, Lancashire in 1881, although, Sarah is recorded as 'Selina'.

The 1891 census records the family living at 25 Limekiln Road, Witton, Cheshire & later at 16 Thomas St., Garston, Lancashire in 1901.
