Jessie was born c 1835 at Alvah, Banff. William died in infancy. Recorded at Tilly Bo, King Edward, Aberdeen in the 1861 census.

The family were living at 25 High St., MacDuff, Gamrie, Banff. in the 1871 census, although, William wasn't present & couldn't find him anywhere. Later, the family are recorded at 7 Church St., Gamrie, Banff. in 1881.

The 1891 census records the family living at 2 Hutcheson St., MacDuff, Gamrie, Banff. Also present was three Grandchildren, Barbara, William & Francis Lawrence.
