NOTE

Margaret was born c 1833 at Oyne, Aberdeen & died in 1902. Her parents were George Main & Jane Grant. Williamina died aged 27 yrs & Maria aged 16 yrs.

Not sure if he was married to Helen & Jane was illigitimate ? James was recorded at Mireton, Insch, Aberdeen in the 1841 census & later at Ord Mill Cottage, Monymusk, Aberdeen in 1851.

The family was living at Place Of Tillyfour, Oyne, Aberdeen in the 1861 & 71 census'. The latter also records Margaret's parents, George & Jane Main.

The 1881 census records the family living at Hill Of Fetternear, Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeen.

Margaret, now a widow, was living at 27 Northfield Place, Aberdeen Old Machar with children, Elsie, Alexr., & James. Also present was Grandson, James A. Inkson.

The 1901 census records Margt., living at 5 Holburn Road, Aberdeen Holburn with Grandsons, James & William Inkson.
