NOTE

Ann was born c 1831 at Alvah, Banff. Her parents were George Leslie & Margaret Leggat. James' Bap. witnessed by George Scott & James Thain at Waulkmill.

I couldn't find anyone in the 1851 census, although in 1861 the family were living at 1 Church St., Turriff, Aberdeen. James' father was also present. The family were living at the same place in 1871.

The 1881 census records James & Margt. living at the same place with son, George. James & Margt. are recorded at the same place in 1891. Also present is Grandson, Alexander Taylor, 1883, Turriff, Aberdeen.

Margt. is living as a widow at the same place in 1901.
