NOTE

Isabella was born c 1811 at Banff. Banff. & died in 1885. Elizabeth & Rosanna both died in infancy. William probably died young also.

There appears to be two marriage records: 1 for James & Isabella Falconer Smith, 4.12.33 at Mortlach & another for James & Isabella Smith, 1.12.1833 at Banff. Banff.

I couldn't find this family in the 1841 census, although in 1851 James & Isabella were living at Milltown of Balvenie, Mortlach, Banff. with children, James & Mary.

James & Isabella are living at the same place in 1861 with dau., Isabella & son, Sylvester. The 1871 census records James & Isabella living at the same place with sons, James & Sylvester.

Isabella, now a widow, is living at the same place with sons, James & Sylvester in 1881. Also present was Grandaughters, Mary A. & Elizabeth J. Mitchell.
