NOTE
Amelia, a Silk Weaver, was born c 1802 at Ashton-In-Makerfield, Lancashire & died from 'Child Bed Fever', which was an infection following birth of a child in 1843.
* I can only assume James was illigitimate as his father's last name was 'Cuncliffe'.
The 1841 census records Amelia living at Long Lane, Ashton-In-Makerfield, Lancashire with children, Adam & Dinah. SEE
here. Not sure where James or Hannah were ?
The family were living at Summers Yard (?), Ashton-In-Makerfield, Lancashire in 1851. SEE
here. Also present was Ann's dau., Ellen Mytton from her previous marriage.
The 1861 census records the family at Knowles Square, Pendlebury, Lancashire. Ann, now a widow, is recorded at Chapel St., Worsley, Lancashire in 1871. Also present was a Grandaughter, Elizabeth Ann Kirkman, although she's recorded as 'Howarth' & a daughter.
