NOTE
Katherine, a Dressmaker, was born c 1873 at Caddo, Oklahoma & died 1954. Her parents were James Priddy & Ellen Thornhill.
I couldn't find this family in the 1900 census, although Katherine & children (Charles, James & Aileen) were living at Murrieta, Riverside, California (1910). It also records Katherine as a widow. I can't find Katherine after that census.
"James brought his family to California around 1904. He left his family about 1907. As told by Frances Meyers.
Her adopted mother Aileen said that she was about 10 years old when her father just left one day. He had gone
to find work in Salt Lake City with Greg Duncan. They had hopped a train. Greg made it James never showed
up. The story says James was earring the money. $160 is the amount I heard from someone." (by David Duncan)
Thank you to David Duncan for his help & information regarding this family
