John, a Boot Maker & Letter Carrier, was born c 1845 at Maidstone, Kent & died in 1923. Jane was recorded working at .... Bank, Tonbridge, Kent in the 1861 census. Her sister Grace was also working there. May have had a daughter, Alice who died in infancy in 1875 ?

The family were living at Sutton, Surrey in the 1871 census & later at 4 Millers Cott High St., Sutton, Surrey in 1881. The 1891 & 1901 census' records the family living at 209 High St., Sutton, Surrey.
