Henry, a Blacksmith, was born c 1778 at Mevagissey, Cornwall & died in 1866. His parents were James & Mary Jory.

The family were living at Pentewan, St. Austell, Cornwall in the 1841 & 51 census'. The latter also record a Grandson, Stephen Davey. Henry, now a widow, is living at the same place in 1861 with dau., Ann Maria.
