The marriage cert. records her age as 18 yrs & Samuel's as 'full'. Neither could write.
* Their last three children are a bit of a mystery as I believe they were all born after Samuel's death.
Joseph was later adopted to Henry & Grace Richardson. His full name may be Charles Joseph.

The above census records Jane liv. with her sister Margaret & also present was their mother Ann. Jane is recorded as a widow but the 1891 census records 2 other children (Sarah & Henrietta born after 1881). Their dau. Jemima's marriage cert. (1888) dosen't record her father as deceased.
Jane, now a widow, was recorded at Irlam o the Height, Pendlebury, Lancashire (1891) with her last four daughters. Interestingly, her daughter, Jemima was living next door with her family.
In the 1901 census, Jane is recorded at Butterworth St., Radcliffe, Lancashire with her daughters, Mary & Henrietta.
