Alexander a, Engine Fireman At Woolen Mills & Crofter, was born c 1848 at Keith, Banff. & died in 1913. His parents were George Pirie & Jane Duncan. Thomas died aged 12 & Robert died in infancy.

The family was living at Little Allacardoch Croft, Keith, Banff. in the 1881 census & later at Howe Muir, Keith, Banff. in 1891. Jane & Alexr. were living at Burn, Grange, Banff. in 1901 with children, Jane, George & Thomas.
