Sarah was born c 1826 at Barnston, Cheshire & died in 1908. * Can only assume she died in infancy.

The family was living at Bridge St., Birkenhead, Cheshire in the 1851 census & later at Nusshy Houses (?), Barnton, Cheshire in 1861, although his b'place is recorded as Northwich, Cheshire.

The 1971 census records the family living at American Cottage (?), Sand Hill, Castle Northwich, Cheshire. John & his son, Charles are recorded on the vessel 'Countess' in Liverpool, Lancashire in 1881 as Waterman (Master) & Waterman's Mate. Sarah & children William & Teresa are living at 33 Warrington Road, Witton, Cheshire.

Sarah, now a widow, is living with her son, Charles & his family at 7 David St., Castle Northwich, Cheshire in 1891. Sarah is living with her dau., Teresa (Pritchard) & her husband (Samual) at 21 Royle St., Northwich, Cheshire in 1901.
