NOTE

Mary was born c 1850 at Auchterless, Aberdeen & died in 1923. Her parents were Robert Kennedy & Jane Pirie. * Their son William seems to have been brought up by John's parents. Jessie (1878-1956) marr. James Marven & Margaret (1882-1972) marr. David G. Hunter.

The family was living at Bridge Foot, Banff. Banff. in the 1871 census & later at South Brownside, Forglen, Banff. in 1881. The family may have lived at Leslie, Aberdeen between 1875-78 as 2 children were born there.

The 1891 census records the family living at the same place. Mary, now a widow, is living at Little Brownside, Forglen, Banff. in 1901 with John, Ann & Robt.
