NOTE

His marriage records suggests he was a widow but I couldn't find his previous marriage. Helen & John were related but I'm not sure how. Helen was my ggg Aunt & John my 1st Cousin +4 Removed.

I couldn't find John in the 1861 census at all.

The family was living at No 93, Rathven, Banff. in the 1871 census. Also present was her brother, George.

The 1881 census records the family living at 119 Braeheads, Boyndie, Banff. & later at Seatown, Boyndie, Banff. in 1891.
