The above census would suggest John re-married but I think maybe just a mistake as there is a Fanny Tretheway, 1847, Widow, Eng., living at New Harmony Ward 4, Posey, Indiana in the 1910 census. Although, her Year of Immigration was 1880... so I could be wrong ???

After quite a search I finally found this family living at Harmony, Posey, Indiana in the 1900 census. Their name was recorded as 'Trutrmay' & Year of Immigration was 1871. Jane & Fred were also present.

Fanny probably died before 1920.

Fred was a Carpenter & later a Grocers Merchant. He married someone called 'Minnie' & lived at Harmony, Posey, Indiana in 1920. I couldn't find them in 1930. His World War I Draft Registration Card can be seen here.
