Other tree's have his b'day as 19.2.1870 but this cannot be correct as he isn't in the 1870 census which was taken 10th June. Elizabeth died in infancy.

Mary was born c 1870 at Mt Pleasant, Sampete, Utah & died in 1942. Her parents were William Lake & Ellen Grames.

The family was living at Mt Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah in the 1900 & 1910 census'. The family were living in the same area in 1920, although it records John's father's b'place as 'Scotland'.

The 1930 census records John & Mary living in the same area.
