"My father was a veteran of 433 Sqn.,station Skipton-on-Swale, Yorshire, England between Dec. /43 to Nov. /44. My father is F/O L.J. Butson and he survived 34 ops over enemy territory along with his brave crew mates. They were known as the W/O R.Thomas and W/C A.J. Lewington crew. I have written Book 1 and Book 2 of 'Pride of the Porcupines'- my fathers personal (ww2) tour of duty (book 1) and a very detailed Book 2 of 433 'Porcupine' Sqn. concerning as many of the crews on ops, the Halifax and Lanc. a/c used and the losses.
